ABOUT THE ARTIST
Finn's first memories of woodworking take place in the back of their father's pickup truck sanding scrap wood into funky shapes (go check out his work at jwalshdesign.com). They have since improved their sanding abilities but haven't stopped stealing his scrap wood. Finn's work combines their studies in fine arts at Smith College with their background in woodworking. They are interested in pushing the boundary between functional objects and art objects. They are currently in their REFUGE Era- trying to meet themselves through their art.
